NRTC explained it plans to stock up in larger quantities as the Holy month approaches; it also said the decision was made to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. NRTC will import up to 2,100 tonnes of fresh produce each week.

NRTC Group CEO Mohammed Nassar said: “In line with the message from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announcing that there will be no shortage of food in the UAE, we are doing our part at NRTC Fresh by working with the government to make sure we contribute to the country’s food security. We are committed to supplying retailers and our direct customers with high quality fruits and vegetables at really affordable prices.”

Same-day delivery will be given for orders placed before 2PM and delivery will be free for orders over AED80.
