What most excites you about the UAE hospitality industry?
The Middle East, especially Dubai, is the region that has the best hotels in the world, with very high class standards and special demands from guests all over the world. Dubai is hosting Expo 2020, which is a very important event in the region. So many hotel projects has been announced and, in the meantime, are also in the pipeline. We are expecting an enormous boom in the hotel industry.

What main topics are you expecting at the Hotelier Middle East 2019 Executive Housekeeper Forum?
The subject of special and favoured guest demands could certainly be brought up during the Forum. Mühldorfer bedding products can help to pamper the guests even more. However, we can also benefit from the guests´ demands in order to develop and to improve further bedding products.

What are the latest product launches from your company?
Bio-Nature” by Mühldorfer: This new product line is produced on the basis of carefully chosen untreated and natural 100% cotton qualities from pesticide-free farming, which are subject to a particularly gentle process – unbleached and undyed, no chemicals are used for yarning and filled with selected downs.

What other news can we expect from your company?
We are extending our Pillow Menu permanently; guests can make individual choices of different types of pillows, which benefits hotels because of resales. We also have a very fine batiste cover in use, with NM 250 (250 m yarn has a weight of 1 gram). It is the finest and the lightest woven fabric worldwide, filled with finest selected downs for a better temperature compensation.

Feather Topper is always a fascinating product, as it provides a more comfortable stay in bed and for better ergonomic position. Mühldorfer’s well balanced mattress pad “Imprima-Clima” allows guests to enjoy perfect sleeping temperature, never too warm, never too cold. All Mühldorfer bedding items are washable 60-95°C and tumbling resistant. What is very special for Mühldorfer bedding products is the hydrophil technical equipment by a special weaving process, which enables a quicker release and reabsorption of moisture, for a healthy and dry sleeping climate.
