Recent data has revealed the most popular hotels worldwide on Instagram, with Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai claiming the top spot, followed by the emirate’s Atlantis, The Palm, and Soneva Jani in the Maldives, coming in third.
This research, conducted by Dubai Tours & Tickets, examined 80 hotels globally, assessing the number of hashtagged Instagram posts featuring each hotel’s name.

- Burj Al Arab – Dubai: With over 2.5 million posts on Instagram, the Burj Al Arab reigns as the most Instagrammable hotel globally. Situated on its private island, the hotel offers 198 exclusive suites with 24-hour butler service, garnering a staggering 2,869 percent more Instagram posts than Claridge’s in London, which ranked tenth on the list.
- Atlantis, The Palm – Dubai: Securing the second position, Atlantis, The Palm boasts 673,000 hashtagged Instagram posts. This ocean-themed resort, comprising 1,544 rooms, offers complimentary access to the world record-holding Aquaventure Waterpark.
- Soneva Jani – Maldives: Soneva Jani claims the third spot, with over 423,000 hashtagged posts on Instagram. Accessible only by seaplane or speedboat, this low-density luxury resort features 51 over-water villas and seven island residences.
- Villa d’Este, Lake Como – Italy: Nestled in fourth place is the opulent Villa d’Este in Italy, boasting an impressive 201,000 hashtagged posts on Instagram. Originally a royal residence dating back to the 16th century, this enchanting hotel is ensconced within 25 acres of landscaped gardens, offering vistas of Lake Como.
- Bellagio, Las Vegas – US: Claiming fifth place is the renowned Bellagio in Las Vegas, with over 187,000 Instagram posts dedicated to its hashtag. This iconic hotel features the Fountains of Bellagio, synchronised with music and lights, boasting an impressive display of 1,200 water jets reaching heights of up to 460 feet.
- Beverly Hills Hotel, California – US: Beverly Hills Hotel secures the sixth spot with more than 143,000 Instagram posts showcasing its distinctive hashtag. Boasting 210 guest rooms, suites, and 23 bungalows, this legendary hotel has long been synonymous with the Hollywood elite, hosting film stars, rock icons, and celebrities.
- Giraffe Manor – Kenya: Ranking seventh is Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya, celebrated with 117,000 posts on Instagram. Home to a captivating herd of Rothschild giraffes, this unique property plays a vital role in the conservation of this endangered species, offering guests the rare opportunity to interact with these majestic creatures.
- Ritz, Paris – France: In eighth place stands the Ritz in Paris, adorned with over 97,100 Instagram posts featuring its hashtag. With 142 rooms, a luxurious spa, and three Michelin-starred restaurants including the acclaimed Espadon, the Ritz embodies timeless elegance and sophistication.
- Marina Bay Sands Hotel – Singapore: The Marina Bay Sands Hotel clinches the ninth position, boasting over 96,900 hashtagged posts on Instagram. Home to two exclusive Chairman Suites spanning 629 square metres each, this iconic Singaporean landmark offers luxury and panoramic views of the city skyline.
- Claridge’s, London – UK: Wrapping up the list in tenth place is Claridge’s in London, adorned with 84,300 Instagram posts featuring its hashtag. Renowned for its exquisite Christmas displays, including collaborations with luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Jimmy Choo.
