The St. Regis Marsa Arabia in Doha welcomes new general manager
Monika Tritz has been appointed as the general manager of The St. Regis Marsa Arabia – The Pearl. Tritz has a career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry and joins the all-suite property from Shanghai, China. The GM has worked for Kempinski for her entire career to date, having previously worked in Doha at Marsa Malaz Kempinski – The Pearl. In her new position, Tritz will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the island’s operations, with a focus on enhancing the residents’ stay to new levels of comfort, luxury, and sophistication.
Millennium Plaza Downtown Dubai appoints Bob Busman as director of operations
Millennium Plaza Downtown Dubai has appointed Bob Busman as director of operations, bringing with him over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector across Europe and the Middle East. Busman will now be responsible for managing all operational facets of the hotel. This entails leading cross-functional teams, introducing strategic initiatives for team enhancement, driving profitability, and elevating guest satisfaction levels.
Shangri-La and Traders Abu Dhabi appoint new executive chef
Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi have appointed a new executive chef. Samuele Baudoino has been in the industry for more than 20 years, working in the UK, Singapore, Jordan, Bali, Hong Kong, Syria and the UAE. His new employers say Baudoino has consistently pursued innovation and demonstrated a fervent dedication to crafting exceptional dining experiences.
Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort appoints new executive sous chef
Christopher Bromund has joined the culinary team at Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort, bringing over twenty years of culinary expertise. Originally from Germany, Bromund pursued studies in hospitality before honing his skills as a chef with three years of training in his home country. He said: “It’s an honour to join the team at this one-of-a-kind island resort off the coast of Dubai. I look forward to creating enduring memories for our guests and producing the unique dining moments that Anantara is known for.”
Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha welcomes new F&B manager

With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry across hotels in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, Ahmed Sleiman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in food and beverage operations and strategic planning.
