ibis Styles Jumeira has promoted three members of its team. Syed Jaafar Shah goes from financial controller to executive assistant manager, Arun Mehta from assistant director of sales to director of sales, and Adnan Ahmed Khan from assistant revenue manager to revenue manager.

Shah has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He was with the R Hotels for eight years, starting as financial accountant and then as assistant financial controller at Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai JBR. He then moved to ibis Styles Jumeira in 2017 and was later promoted to financial controller role in less than a year. Before coming to the UAE, he was an accounts manager at Islamabad Serena Hotel.
Mehta started as a senior sales manager at ibis Styles Jumeira in 2016 and was later named assistant director of sales in 2018. Before joining the property, he was a cluster leisure sales manager at the former Ramada by Wyndham Jumeira, and Holiday Inn Express hotels for five years.
Khan started as assistant front office manager at ibis Styles Jumeira. He then ventured on a career shift to become an assistant revenue manager, and eventually as revenue manager. His other previous hotel affiliations include front office roles at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, Fairmont Dubai, and Ramada by Wyndham Islamabad.
