Movenpick Hotel Jeddah, Saudi appoints general manager

Movenpick Hotel Jeddah has appointed Ahmed Younes as its general manager.

In his new role Younes will be responsible for the hotel strategic and financial performance and will report to Eddy Tannous, VP operation Middle East.

Younes has 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and has previously held management posts within various brands in the Middle East.

In 2007, he joined Accor Hotels as the rooms division manager at Sofitel Sphinx, Cairo, Egypt. Post that he joined the pre-opening team at Intercontinental the Palace Port Ghalib Resorts as the rooms division manager.

Prior to his current role, Younes was the general manager at Ascott Limited, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
