Radisson Hotel Group appoints CFO for EMEA region

Sergio Amodeo will take over the duties of Knut Kleiven, Radisson's deputy president & CFO

Radisson Hotel group has appointed Sergio Amodeo as the chief financial officer (CFO) of Radisson Hospitality AB and as a member of the Global Steering Committee for Radisson Hotel Group, effective 1 June 2019.

Amodeo was the CFO at a leading management software company in Italy before he took up his current role. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Bolton Group, a privately owned FMCG group for two years, following sixteen years at Danone.

He will take on the duties of Knut Kleiven, who is currently the deputy president & CFO of Radisson Hospitality AB and a member of the Global Steering Committee for Radisson Hotel Group. Kleiven will be retiring after more than 30 years of service

Within EMEA, Amodeo will be responsible for the finance, accounting, group tax, internal audit, and group controlling central teams. He will be based at Radisson Hospitality AB’s headquarters in Brussels and will report directly to president & CEO Federico J. González-Tejera.

Speaking about their new hire, Federico J. González-Tejera, President  and CEO of Radisson Hospitality AB and Chairman of the Radisson Hotel Group Global Steering Committee said: “[Amodeo] joins us at a key stage on our journey towards becoming one of the three top-of-mind hotel groups in the world. His experience and expertise will be critical in delivering on our commitments of the five-year operating plan.”
