Shaza Hotels, a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, has appointed Shafik Alaaeddine as the general manager for the Sharjah Collection by Mysk.

Alaaeddine, who has several years of experience in hotel management, will be responsible for enhancing “unique” guest experiences.

The general manager has worked with several other Shaza Hotels in various capacities and countries across the MENA region. He has been described as Shaza as a “key team leader” in building the Mysk by Shaza brand, as well as opening the flagship property, Mysk Al Mouj in Muscat.

Shaza Hotels executive vice president Sanjiv Malhotra said Alaaeddine was a respectful and caring leader.

“Creating a unique personality of a new raising through interesting and meaningful guest experiences is one of the key strengths of Shafik,” said Alaaeddine. “Being familiar with the cultural nuances, he will be able to represent both Sharjah and Shaza in the beautiful collection he will lead.”

Following the appointment, the brand revealed that it is opening retreats under the Sharjah Collection, followed by Shaza Salalah and Mysk The Palm in Dubai.
