Al Mouj Muscat supports 6th annual Golf Fore Autism Corporate Charity Golf Day

The event was held in partnership with the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability

Al Mouj Muscat  has supported the Golf Fore Autism charity event for the sixth consecutive year. The annual corporate charity golf day was facilitated by the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability.

More than 50 companies and individuals contributed through sponsorship, donation of prizes, auction items as well as other contributions throughout the day. The fund-raising event was held at Al Mouj Golf, providing a platform that increases awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Funds from the event will go towards the education and to improve the quality of life opportunities for children, adults, parents and caregivers impacted by autism.

The property’s CEO, Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani said: “Encouraging education and developing life skills is essential for all members of the society and will remain a key focus area for us at Al Mouj Muscat. Golf Fore Autism raised OMR15,150 this year and more than OMR68,000 over the past five years, and we are proud to support awareness and education for members of our extended community on the autism spectrum.”

The association’s CEO, Sabah Al Bahlani said: “Having the support of Al Mouj Muscat is extremely important as this helps us to in turn provide the early intervention and support to our children and community. We believe that this fund-raising event will amplify our efforts and help us generate more awareness and support for children with ASD.”
