Guests are set to run 36 floors to raise awareness for the ‘Rashid Centre for People of Determination’

Hilton Dubai The Walk together with Race ME will be hosting its eighth fundraising challenge, the Hilton Tower Race on 19 October, 2019.

The race challenges contestants to run up 730 steps of Hilton Dubai The Walk, crossing the finish line on the 35th floor.

As an initiative introduced to raise awareness and funds for charities and causes in need, the Hilton team is working with the ‘Rashid Center for People of Determination' for the fourth year in a row, providing services and support to children within the local community.

The race is open to the public with residents, local businesses and tourists encouraged to participate. Last year’s winning time to beat is 3 minutes and 23 seconds. The event kicks off at 7:30am and is followed by a healthy breakfast on the 35th floor, once the participants have completed the challenge.

The property’s hotel manager, Gisele Clark said: “The event has been extremely successful over the last couple of years, and we hope that this year, it will be even better. Hilton has a long history of giving back to the local community and we thank all those who are joining us in our efforts to raise awareness and funds for the Rashid Center for People of Determination.”
