Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts launches Maldives branch
The resort features dining venues, private beaches, entertainment centres and more
The Maldivian resort includes an independent private island and 11 dining venues that feature a variety of cuisines and wine pairing meals.

Each reef and overwater villa on the resort opens onto either a beach or a deck, and features a private infinity pool.
The resort also comprises two ocean villas accessible only by boat that feature floor-to-ceiling windows and direct ocean access. The 32,000 sq. metre Ithaafushi Private Island includes a four-bedroom residence, a three bedroom beach villa and a two bedroom overwater villa.
The private island is complete with a chef and personal concierge team, a spa and gym, five swimming pools, beaches and an entertainment center.
The resort offers guests access to the Waldorf Astoria Spa, the water sport and PADI dive center, the Waldorf Astoria Young Discovery Park and Lagoon Pool, a 40 metre pool, a fitness centre, a range of wellness activities, sunrise meditation and private sunset dining.
This latest addition to Hilton’s Asia Pacific luxury portfolio is part of Hilton Honors, a guest-loyalty programme for Hilton’s 17 hotel brands. Members who book directly through Hilton channels are eligible for instant benefits such as an exclusive member discount and free standard Wi-Fi. An opening offer is also applicable for new bookings.
