Japanese restaurant opens at Andaz Dubai the Palm
Hanami features a large open-kitchen and a sushi counter
Located on the 15th floor of Andaz Dubai the Palm, Japanese street food venue Hanami has opened its doors. Bringing the newly-opened hotel’s F&B portfolio to four, the Asian restaurant and bar provides views of the Dubai skyline on its terrace and has a modern interior design.
Hanami features both an open-kitchen and a sushi counter, offering street food-inspired dishes with a Western flair. Dishes include nori tacos, tempura, sushi platters, maki rolls, grilled skewers, burgers and a range of other street food choices.
Prepared by a team of mixologist, the beverage menu includes cocktails, sake, sake infusions, beers, wines and various other spirits.
For a more personal culinary experience, diners can arrange a chef’s table which gives six to eight diners a seasonal and theatrical menu prepared by their own personal chef. Andaz Dubai The Palm GM Kifah Bin Hussein previously said to Hotelier Middle East that each F&B venue in the hotel would be experience-led.
The GM explained: “People are looking for experiences. They want to try something completely different. At the same time, they don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on their experience. We did a very good study of the market to understand what the needs were. Understanding the nature of The Palm, we know that the people who live here hardly leave The Palm to dine. And it’s the same thing for the people who live on the mainland. They see The Palm as a leisure destination where they come on weekends so our focus is on our local community.”
The venue is open from 6pm to 12am on Saturday to Wednesday and 6pm to 1am on Thursday and Friday.
