Five-star hotel Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City has unveiled its selection of festive offers across its F&B venues.

The hotel’s deli eatery will be serving up festive hampers, turkey takeaways and Christmas classics during the December month.

Visitors to Slice can enjoy yule logs, Christmas cake, mince pies, cookies and gingerbread houses, as well as a dedicated takeaway service for all the festive food.

The Christmas overhaul will run from December 6 – 25 with prices varying depending on the order.

Alpine M’City Festive Brunches

Taking place at the hotel’s Bytes restaurant, guests can enjoy festive food from the Alps.

The food consists of traditional dishes from Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Dishes include alpine salads, sausages, cold cuts, seafood, and pizza.

As part of the Christmas season, the venue is offering a seasonal brunch, including all the usual items, as well as a live DJ, festive workshop and discounts on food and drink.

During December 6, 13 and 20 at 12:30pm to 4pm, guests can enjoy the brunch offer. It is priced at AED 249 per person with soft drinks and AED 399 for house drinks.

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, the hotel’s Bytes venue will serve up a Christmas menu consisting of turkey and cranberry sauce, goose, lobster, salmon and desserts such as minced pies and yule log.

Along with the brunch there will also be a live DJ, saxophonist, carollers and Santa Claus.

Taking place on Christmas Day, the brunch will run from 12:30pm to 4pm. It will be priced at AED 299 per person with soft drinks or AED 449 with house drinks.

New Year’s Eve Dinner Under the Stars

Moving forward to New Year’s, the hotel will serve a Pan-Asian style buffet.

The buffet will give guests dishes such as seafood wonton, spring rolls and chicken satay. Desserts include fried ice cream, chocolate delight and a selection of cakes.

Taking place on December 31 at 8:30pm till 12:30am, the buffet can be served at the Bytes pool. Entertainment shall include a DJ, saxophonist and the Palm Jumeirah fireworks at the time.

It shall cost AED 349 per person with soft drinks, AED 449 with house drinks and AED 549 with house drinks and free-flowing prosecco.

Halfway to Havana New Year’s Eve Party

Guests during New Year’s can head to hotel’s Twenty Three rooftop venue. The bar will provide Latin music, as well as views of the Palm Jumeirah fireworks and the Burj Al Arab.

The food provided for the evening will be tapas and entertainment includes a DJ and a live percussionist.  

The party will take place on December 31, 10pm till 2am. Prices start at AED 499 per person for indoor and house drinks, AED 649 for SZR terrace seating and premium drinks, or AED 849 for Palm side terrace seating and premium drinks.

There’s also an AED 150 walk-in after midnight price which comes with a glass of prosecco.

Corporate Private Festive Parties

Finally, there is an offer for corporate prices for booking. Rates start at AED 150 per person for a festive party booking.
