Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments has opened the doors to the newest sports bar on Sheikh Zayed Road - The Exit.

The Exit Sports Bar combines the finer elements of a gastropub and a trendy sports lounge and is located only a few steps away from the Dubai Internet City Metro Station, sister publication Caterer Middle East reported

Inspired by London bars, the upbeat venue will officially be open on October 24 to all sports enthusiasts and pub fans, offering a new place to live sport from around the world on big screens.

With a menu of British and American pub favourites, the sports bar is as much a place to enjoy a dining experience as it is for after-work drinks or a relaxing sundowner.

Guests can expect a communal table-style meal with large sharing platters as well as pitchers of wines and craft beer.

Jenson Samuel, marketing and e-commerce manager at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments, said: "We are hugely excited to bring such an exciting and unique concept to Dubai, an upmarket sports bar that lets you catch your favourite sport in style.

"The Exit is where friends and family come together to enjoy a convivial vibe while watching sport and sampling a variety of signature dishes like our pizza by the metre.

"Whether you follow sports or not, this sports bar provides the perfect setting for sipping ice-cold beverages in front of the on-screen action."
