Staff members and volunteers at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai have taken part in the 11th edition of the Dubai Cares Walk for Education event.

Held at Dubai Creek Park last month, the walk helped to raise awareness of Dubai Cares’ mission to bring quality education to children around the world.

Dubai Cares helps to achieve the United Nationals Sustainable Development Goal which aims to support early childhood development, enrich primary and secondary education and provide emergency and crisis training to the youth.

The UAE-based global philanthropic organisation has launched education programs reaching over 20 million beneficiaries in 59 developing countries.

Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai GM Simon Moore said: “We are proud to extend our support to this great cause to demonstrate our solidarity with children in less developed parts of the world who walk long distances to simply access their basic right to education. As part of our corporate social responsibility our goal is to make a lasting difference in people’s lives regardless of their gender, nationality or race and ‘Dubai Cares Walk for Education’ is a great initiative in that aspect.”
