Seven City JLT development brings in Airolink construction firm
The UAE-based company will lead the building of the 325,160sqm project
Real estate and hospitality development company Seven Tides has named Airolink as its main building contractor to create its US$272 million Seven City JLT development.
Slated for a Q2 2023 completion, Seven City JLT, as the name suggests, will sit within Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai. Once complete, the mixed-use project will comprise a total area of 325,160 sqm. It will house 2,744 mixed development units, 49 retail units, a three-screen cinema, a hypermarket and a 2,617 space car park.
Residential units include: 2,617 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, plus 78 hotel rooms.
“Airolink is well established, has a solid reputation along with a wealth of experience across numerous sectors, which is ideal for this development,” said Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO, Seven Tides. “Work is well underway on-site and we are already working with Airolink at our Seven Palm development on Palm Jumeirah, so this should be a smooth transition.”
“Seven City JLT is designed to provide everything a resident might possibly want, with various retail options, entertainment, food and beverage outlets, gym and a health club. However, when residents do venture outside, they’ll still be able to enjoy the urban vibe, with the excitement and fast-paced, hustle and bustle of city life, right on their doorstep,” he added.
Seven Tides has gradually been growing its hospitality portfolio, with ownership of DUKES London and management of Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, DUKES The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel and most-recently, Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai Hotel.
