Last year we reported the group was looking to attract new markets to Ras Al Khaimah before expanding the brand and it appears Bin Majid Hotels and Resorts was true to its word.
Now operating five properties — four in Ras Al Khaimah and Nehal in Abu Dhabi — Bin Majid Hotels and Resorts is investing AED 400 million in four new hotels, including two being planned in Dubai. Of this, the company has invested AED 150 million in rebranding the hotel chain.
Bin Majid Hotels and Resorts is also set to open Santorini by the end of the year. The 265-room hotel will be located on Marjan Island, the first man-made island project in Ras Al Khaimah.
