With a team of 4000 employees, Mohammed H. Arkobi leads Fairmont Raffles Hotels International’s complex of three hotels in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The hotels comprise Raffles Makkah Palace, Makkah Clock Royal Tower —A Fairmont Hotel and Swissotel Makkah, which together spearheaded the surge of luxury lodging in the holy city.
A firm believer in Saudisation within the industry, Arkobi brings a wealth of hospitality industry experience and a proven track record of revenue generation, value creation and innovative growth to his role.
Green and environmental issues are also at the fore of Arkobi’s efforts to create a more sustainable hospitality industry in the Kingdom.
Working closely with FHRI’s portfolio of hotels and resorts, he plays an instrumental role in the day-to-day operations of the company’s Green Partnership programme — a worldwide environmental platform recognised internationally as being one of the most comprehensive green programmes in the hospitality industry — and its application in Saudi Arabia.
Arkobi is also concentrating on further developing the FRHI, Saudi Arabia Collection throughout Makkah, the Saudi market and from the key international markets as well.
