Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Al Ain offered as quarantine shelter

Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company has pledged to support the UAE government

As the number of international COVID-19 cases continues to rise, Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company has pledged it will support the UAE government in the fight against the virus.

The group is offering one of its owned properties, the Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Al Ain, to be used as a quarantine shelter if needs be.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Dhaheri, vice chairman of the board stated that this timely support stems from the company’s mission to meet its responsibilities towards society by joining hands with individuals and institutions to assist the government in alleviating the impact of COVID-19.

Hospitality companies across the region have been stepping in to help the community however they can. Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA recently facilitated 60 hotel rooms for frontline medical staff to use in the UAE. In Jordan, it has been reported that hotels have been used as quarantine spaces for close to 6,000 travellers to help reduce strain on hospitals for beds.
