Sharjah’s Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (JRCC) won 17 accolades – which included 11 medals – at the 2017 Gulfood Salon Culinaire competition.
Eight JRCC chefs won 11 medals at the Emirates Salon Culinaire competition, organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild during the exhibition. They secured three gold medals, six sliver, two bronze and six merits of appreciation.
JRCC was founded in 2013, and recently achieved the milestone of catering for 1000 events.
JRCC’s team of chefs are often seen participating in local and international culinary competitions, and have won more than 60 accolades in the process.
In the 2016 edition of the Gulfood competition, a team of 13 JRCC chefs won two golds, five bronzes and six certificates of merit.
At the East Coast Fujairah Culinary Competition in 2016, 11 JRCC chefs took home three gold medals, six silvers, one bronze and one certificate of merit. Their participation at the Middle East Seal Culinary competition led 16 chefs to clinch 20 awards.
