The JA Manafaru Maldives island resort’s Calm Spa recently bagged the ‘Best Luxury Destination Spa in the Maldives’ prize at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2019.

Vlad Reyes, general manager, JA Manafaru Maldives resort said: “This award is yet another wonderful accolade that reflects the luxurious treatments, customer care and exceptional service available to guests at JA Manafaru Maldives. We aim to match the breath-taking natural beauty of our island with impeccable service and unique experiences that create unforgettable memories for the whole family’.

Judges at the ‘World Luxury Spa Awards’ appreciated the range of treatments at the Calm Spa & Salon catering to adults and children alike. The outdoor setting of the spa was also a compelling feature for the judges.

Judges specifically recognised the spa’s signature rituals, which include a Seven Day Manafaru Journey treatment comprising massages, facials, body polishes, after-sun experiences, couples’ journeys and more, all using locally sourced ingredients. The family spa treatments were mentioned for their creativity, using natural and organic products.
