Registrations for Hotelier Middle East’s Concierge Mastermind of the Year will close in a week.

The inaugural Concierge Mastermind of the Year aims to find out who is the best concierge of them all.

The Concierge Mastermind of the Year is being held in association with Les Clef D’Or, ensuring the competitors will also be tested on their wisdom on the finer points of being a concierge, as well as their knowledge of Dubai and its many attractions.

Hotelier Middle East has partnered with the largest open top bus tours operator - City Sightseeing Dubai to bring a competition that will pit the wits of concierges throughout Dubai against each other as well as bragging rights as the most clued up concierge in town, the overall winner will walk away with AED 5,000, with runners up also in with a chance of cash prizes on the night.

“We wanted to create this event to bring all the best protagonists of the city that are involved in showing the best, the quirky and the unknown that is to be discovered about Dubai,” said City Sightseeing Dubai’s general manager Cedric Scherer.
“The winners will have significant recognition and offer an opportunity to bask among your peers, as well as being able to celebrate your profession.”

The winners will be decided in August when the final will be fought between three concierges after the initial qualifying heats.

In addition to amazing cash prizes, the winner of the Concierge Mastermind of the Year will also get to attend the Hotelier Middle East Awards on Wednesday 23rd October where they will be crowned in front of the Middle East’s hospitality sector.

Many of the concierges of Dubai’s most well-known hotels have already registered and have started brushing up on their knowledge on Dubai and the art of being a concierge.
