We take a look at this highly-popular Monaco hotel

Checking out, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Monaco hotels, COVID-19, Coronavirus, Bureau Veritas

Part of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group, this Monaco property has been certified as compliant with COVID-19 business restart health sanitary measures by Bureau Veritas France.

Flexible booking
In addition to the general health measures introduced in the hotel, the resort has also introduced a number of specific initiatives to make each stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. Prior to arrival, the hotel will send an email for the guest to fill out with all the information needed for check-in, along with some additional details that will help the hotel team make their stay memorable. For the guests’ peace of mind, Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) has also relaxed the cancellation policy — during peak season. Changes and cancellations may now be made up to three days before arrival and the majority of the special offers (such as advance purchase) are now flexible and no prepayments are required.

Preventive practices
Temperature checks are performed at key points of entry into the hotel’s establishments and hand sanitiser dispensers are available at points of contact between customers and employees. Contact surfaces (handles, elevator buttons, counters, etc.) are disinfected with a virus-killing agent at least every two hours. All employees are provided with personal protective equipment recommended by the Prince’s Government, and have been trained to follow good preventive practices. In the dining venues, digitised copies of the menus may be viewed using dedicated QR codes. Copies are also displayed on menu stands or printed on disposable paper.

New launches
Guests staying at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort will have the opportunity to book Suite Eleven, which was inaugurated in June and is accessed by a private elevator to the fully reserved 11th floor with 180° sea views. The contemporary styled suite favours natural materials in mellow shades evoking the sand with touches of blue in a tranquil and warm atmosphere. Guests looking for a non-traditional way to start the day can opt to have their breakfast served in the lagoon on a floating tray.
