Russia’s Aeroflot airline has successfully returned all Russian nationals stranded in Dubai back home. According to sister publication Arabian Business, the carrier is continuing flights in Ho Chi Minh City repatriating nationals.

Aeroflot spokesperson Yulia Spivakova said: "On Saturday we finished evacuation of our compatriots from Dubai and continued to take Russians from Ho Chi Minh City." 

Last week, the airline successfully evacuated more than 1,500 Russians from multiple international cities. "In a period from March 14 to 28, about 55,000 people have returned to Russia by the air company’s flights," she added.

Earlier this week, the UAE government announced it has completed 39 Emirati repatriation missions so far, equating to 1,733 returned to the country. In the next few days, the government has 25 more missions planned.
