UAE suspends entry for residency visa holders

The entry ban will last for two weeks

As part of the UAE’s ongoing measures to stem the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced residency visa holders will not be allowed to re-enter the country.

Reported by sister publication Arabian Business, the decision will be enforced from today and last for a period of two weeks.

Those currently outside the UAE for business will have to contact their employers as well as Emirati diplomatic missions in their host countries to aid getting them back into the UAE.
