Airbnb has revealed that 43% of its hosts in the UAE are female, while another 40% are history experience representatives, and 33% are arts and nature experience representatives.

Globally, Airbnb bookings earned female hosts close to US$15 billion in 2019.

Airbnb UAE experience host Hanan Al Fardan explained: “I enjoy hosting guests to introduce them to my culture, especially those who are unaware of the UAE’s traditions. I believe in travelling and exploring the world to meet different people with different backgrounds. Investing my time in educating guests gives me joy, their reactions to my stories is priceless and gives me the confidence to share the passion I have to others.”
