Four-star Two Seasons Hotel & Apartment has brought Tesla Motors in to fit the site with two electric charging points.
The ‘Destination Chargers’ can be used by all electric car owners visiting the hotel, charging their cars completely free of charge.
Tesla works with various hospitality venues in the region, installing its charging stations and ‘High Power Wall Connectors’ which can charge vehicles in a few hours.
The partnership makes up part of the hotel’s Green Globe Programme, an initiative focusing on sustainable hotel operation and practices.
Earlier this year the hotel won the Dubai Sustainability Award in the four-star category. The hotel has a keen focusing on raising employee awareness and cutting carbon emissions in the hospitality industry.
The hotel also received the first runner up award in the hospitality category at the Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Awards in October.
