Emirates to carry 6,500 professionals to Amway’s leadership seminar in December
Distributors and company representatives will congregate in Dubai to network and hear from speakers
Emirates Airline has partnered with Amway to transport attendees of an upcoming seminar.
The company is holding its first APAC Leadership Seminar 2019 in Dubai next month, bringing in more than 6,500 professionals.
The airline will operate more than 30 return flights from Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. Emirates has dedicated extra resources to cater to the influx of professionals, making checking in far smoother.
Emirates' crafts will be branded with an Amway headrest and the seminar-attendees will be given an Amway cupcake or birthday cake.
Adnan Kazim, chief commercial officer for Emirates Airline said: “We are very pleased to partner with Amway on its first ever Asia Pacific Leadership Seminar taking place in Dubai next month. More than 6,500 participants from nine countries will be flying better on Emirates to attend RISE Dubai 2019. We look forward to welcoming the group on-board and to showcasing our world-class products and services – offering customers a seamless end to end travel experience. Dubai is an ideal destination for international conferences and together with our partners, we are thrilled to connect people and communities to and through our modern hub.”
Arabian Adventures MICE, part of the Emirates Group, has also been appointed to manage transportation on-ground. On the day of the event, more than 200 buses will travel 10,570 kilometres, and over 40 private cars will be reserved to move guests from Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to 15 hotels in Dubai.
The seminar, working under the theme of ‘RISE Dubai 2019’, will recognise and award achievements of Amway business owners over the past year. The one-day business conference will bring in Amway’s management team, making it the largest gathering of international Amway leaders in its 60 years' history
The partnership comes soon after Emirates Group announced its half-year results for its 2019-2020 financial year. Officials revealed that group revenue was AED 53.3 billion ($14.5 billion) for the first six months of 2019-20, down 2% from AED 54.4 billion ($14.8 billion) during the same period last year.
The APAC Leadership Seminar 2019 will take place at DWTC on 13 December 2019.
