Oman to organise 30-day tourism campaign

The Sultanate’s tourism ministry has partnered with Oman LNG

Oman’s ministry of tourism will be organising a 30-day tourism campaign, officials revealed.

The ministry is partnering with Oman LNG for the campaign that will start on 11 July 2019.

The campaign will be held in conjunction with the Salalah Tourism Festival.

Through the initiative, officials want to promote environmental awareness by “encouraging local residents and visitors to uphold and maintain the quality of touristic elements in the Governorate of Dhofar”.

The ministry also wants to warn tourists about the dangers of swimming in the sea.
