India’s SpiceJet to operate 148 Saudi flights for Hajj travellers

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be used to fly pilgrims

India’s budget-airline SpiceJet has announced plans to operate 148 flights to Saudi Arabia for Hajj tourists.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft that will be used to fly pilgrims, will operate between 4 July to 29 July 2019.

According to sister title Arabian Business, the airline is set to carry around 11,000 Hajj pilgrims from “Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, to Madinah and Jeddah and back on special flights”

SpiceJet recently launched two daily flights from India to Riyadh and Jeddah.
