Gulf Air set to increase direct flights to India

The airline will now run three flights on the route

Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air is set to increase direct flights to India’s capital city, Delhi from 9 July 2019, the airline announced.

According to officials, the airline has added one more flight on the new route, taking the total to three flights.

“We are constantly developing strategies to satisfy the high demand to and from India and cater to our passengers’ needs across the Gulf Air network. Gulf Air’s increased Delhi frequency will enhance the existing. With additional flights between Bahrain and Delhi we are offering enhanced schedule flexibility for our valued travellers while also creating improved connections for those travelling to and from Gulf Air’s network of onwards destinations across the globe,” said Krešimir Kučko, Gulf Air’s CEO.

Since 1960, Gulf Air has provided direct air services between India and Bahrain, operating 75 weekly flights to eight destinations in India: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Hyderabad, Calicut and Bengaluru.
