Expedia Partner Solutions collaboration to ‘unlock’ Middle Eastern hotel market

Expedia Group’s partner will team up with dcs plus to offer its partners access to 35 different accommodation types including hotels and resorts

Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS), the B2B brand within Expedia Group, has partnered with technology specialist dcs plus through its newest hotel API - Rapid.

Expedia Group said the new venture enabled through EPS’s newest hotel API, Rapid, will “broaden and deepen” dcs plus’s inventory offering, particularly in market such as the Middle East.

With the implementation of EPS Rapid, dcs plus will be able to offer its partners access to 35 different accommodation types including hotels and resorts across more than 25,000 global destinations.

EPS’ director of account management platforms for EMEA Fritz Oberhummer said the partnership would build “dynamic” packaging solutions for travel agents.

“dcs plus’s reliable solutions have allowed us to expand our reach and provide travel agents and travel management companies across the world with access to EPS’s extensive accommodation portfolio, through EPS Rapid,” said Oberhummer.

Dcs plus’s alliances and partners senior manager Andrei Savin said: “As a long-term partner of Expedia we are delighted to embark on this new agreement with EPS. As two global companies, we believe combining our knowledge of the worldwide travel market will be hugely beneficial to us both and will allow us to continue to meet the diverse needs of all types of travel operators.”
