Dubai tourists to get free SIM cards on arrival

Tourists above 18 years of age will receive the SIM card at the immigration counter

Tourists visiting Dubai will now receive a free SIM card on arrival, according to a new initiative by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, reports suggested.

According to Gulf News, tourists above 18 years of age will receive the SIM card that comes with three minutes of talk time and 20mb data.

The SIM card, which is a 'happiness' project launched by Du Telecommunications, the GDRFA, and Smart Dubai, will be valid for one month.
