National Geographic names MENA’s ‘must-visit’ beach

The organisation has compiled a list of beaches in the Middle East and North Africa that tourists should visit

Egyptian town Dahab has been named the top beach destination in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, according to a report from the National Geographic.

Located on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, Dahab came out on top in the MENA for its “healthy coral reefs” and the “Blue Hole”, which is a submarine sinkhole more than 300 feet deep that is famous among divers, according to National Geographic’s report.

Other Middle Eastern destinations among the list were Tyre in Lebanon, in 4th place, Kite Beach in Dubai, 5th place and Salalah in Oman in 6th place.
