Leva hotel Dubai in expansion plans, eyeing Oman, Kuwait, UAE, KSA
Hotel company eyes multiple properties in Dubai, including in Dubai Marina, Business Bay, reveals Leva hotel CEO
Leva hotel CEO J.S Anand has revealed in an exclusive interview with Hotelier Middle East that the company is currently in expansion plans that will see it manage properties in Oman, Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Anand said that part of the company’s expansion plans will materialise within the “next 60 days.”
Speaking about the company’s plans to expand in Oman, Anand said: “There are opportunities for the four star category [of hotels]. There is an opportunity to get some good boutique hotels in [Oman].
“Our brand doesn’t seem to have any similarity in the hotels that I have seen there,” he added.
He also said that the company is willing to reflag existing hotels or take over newly built ones, saying that he would prefer this route as opposed to adding additional rooms to the market.
Speaking about expanding Leva hotels in the UAE, Anand said that [the company] needs to create a footprint in the UAE as it is a “home-grown brand coming out of the UAE.”
He also revealed that the company was also eyeing other emirates in the UAE, such as Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi, including the city of Al Ain.
“We are still sourcing properties through our development teams,” he said.
Currently, Leva hotel has one property, which is located in Dubai, the UAE. The 178-room property debuted in Dubai in February 2019 and is located in Mazaya Centre, close to City Walk, Burj Khalifa and the newly opened Coca-Cola Arena.
