Resta signs management agreement for Yemeni hotel
Al-Qasr Hotel & Resort in Aden to boast 239 rooms and suites
Resta Hotels & Resorts has signed a contract for managing the Al-Qasr Hotel & Resort in the city of Aden, Yemen.
The hotel will have 239 rooms and suites and Resta’s chairman of the board Mohamed Abdul Jawad said the company was proud to manage the property.
"This contract is in line with the company's growth strategy that is aimed at operating15 hotels and resorts by 2013,” he said.
“The company was launched in June 2008 with the aim to pioneer as one of the very few hotel management companies founded in the Middle East and North Africa, by Arabian investments and calibers with international experience."
Abdul Jawad said the operator’s strategy was based on operating a hotel in every major city and global tourism destination in the MENA region.
He added that the intention was to increase Resta's portfolio by “managing diversified categories of hotels and resorts to meet international market demands".
“With its attractive tourism and historical sites, the city has a high environmental and tourism value that qualifies it for the establishment of large-scale tourism projects along its coasts", he added.
