With hotel developments in the Middle East and North Africa region progressing rapidly, The Rocco Forte Collection has strengthened its international executive team with new appointments at the head office in London and at the award-winning Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

The MICE market will be a priority for The Rocco Forte Collection’s new hotel in Abu Dhabi, which will be launched this year, and this growing market will be a focus for Stephan Hein, the new Regional Sales Manager for The Rocco Forte Collection.

German born Stephan will report to Patrizia Di Patrizio, Regional Director of Sales, and will be based at The Rocco Forte Collection’s head office in London.

He will be responsible for managing the UK groups market, by further strengthening relationships with conference and incentive event management companies, venue finding agencies and corporate meeting planners. Stephan will also assist in the ongoing development of the company’s ever growing conference and incentive offering.

Stephan Hein says: “I have been with the company since 2007 and I am very pleased to be in London to begin my next chapter with The Rocco Forte Collection. The UK conference and incentive market is very important for us and with the future hotel openings in Abu Dhabi, Marrakech and Cairo; we have an even wider range of solutions to offer to the groups market.”

Prior to this role Stephan held the post of Senior Sales Manager at the Rocco Forte Collection’s Hotel de Rome in Berlin for three years. He began his career in 2004 at the Widder Hotel, Zurich covering various operational roles.

The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, winner of numerous awards including Best Loved Hotels of the World, will build on its extensive offerings to the Middle East market with the appointments of Peter Kienast as General Manager and Melanie Cash as Director of Sales and Marketing.
