Exec pastry chef joins Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal
This is the first time Vitaly Medvedev has worked in the UAE
The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal has appointed Vitaly Medvedev as the executive pastry chef.
This is Medvedev's first stint in Dubai, and he has previously worked in hotels located in Kazakhstan, Russia, Australia and Switzerland.
The pastry chef completed his education from the Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland, and has more than 10 years of hospitality experience. He has worked on developing food concepts and designing food menus, as well as providing nutrition consultancy to athletes.
At his new position at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, Medvedev will be responsible for leading the patisserie and boulangerie sections of the hotel, enhancing menus and overlooking the pastry kitchen.
