AC Hotels by Marriott brands debuts in Middle East and Africa
The 188-room AC Hotel Cape Town Waterfront includes several green initiatives
The AC Hotel Cape Town Waterfront by Marriott opened its door in Cape Town, just minutes from the city’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, walking distance from the Cape Town International Convention Centre and a 25-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. This is the first AC Hotels by Marriott in the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Other features include the AC Library, a quiet space lined with interesting and ever-evolving reading material tucked away from the buzz as well as a fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment. Located within walking distance, it also features four flexible meeting rooms and a boardroom with a total of 250 sqm of event space, boasting natural light and stunning Harbour views.
The 188 roomed hotel includes the AC Lounge, AC Kitchen, AC Market, AC Library, a fitness centre and a 250-sqm event space. The hotel also includes green initiatives such as desalination plant, population sensor lighting that saves power, heat pumps to supply hot water that eliminates the use of heat elements, and biodegradable straws and packaging.
