Conrad Maldives Rangali Island opens world's first partially underwater residence

The property is also now welcoming guests to stay at the newly redeveloped deluxe beach villas

Conrad Hotels & Resorts, a part of Hilton’s hotel portfolio, has launched The Muraka at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.

“The completion of The Muraka is a personal lifetime achievement,” said Ahmed Saleem, director, Crown Company and chief architect and designer of the residence.

The Muraka features four curated menu suggestions packed with exclusive and customisable experiences. Defining the core ethos of The Muraka journey the experience menus – The Wanderers, The Flavors, The Soul and The Thrill – complement the resort.

Guests who stay at The Muraka will have butlers who are dedicated to hyper-personalisation and attention to detail. Available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, the butlers deliver exceptional service and as ambassadors of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island as they guide guests through their Maldivian journey.

The Muraka butlers are also able to accommodate any circumstances and requests for guests ranging from the need for privacy to culinary experiences.

Among the new enhancements being made at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the property is also now welcoming guests to stay at the newly redeveloped deluxe beach villas. Designed by Muraka’s design collaborator Yuji Yamazaki, the resort has invested US $8.3 million in redeveloping its 42 deluxe beach villas, which also launch this month. Each villa has a Japanese-inspired garden with outdoor seating area, and private access to the palm fringed beach.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island offers the Conrad Concierge mobile app, which gives global luxury travellers the ability to customise details of their hotel stay before, during, and after each visit via a smartphone or tablet. Whether it's pre-selecting bath amenities or checking-in while in-transit from the airport, guests can access a variety of features by using the app.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island participates in Hilton Honors, the guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s 14 hotel brands. Members who book directly have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose nearly any combination of points and money to book a stay, an exclusive member discount, free standard Wi-Fi and the Hilton Honors mobile app.
