Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights appoints new GM

Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments has appointed Naseer Thodi as the new general manager.

Thodi, who brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role, previously worked with various hotel chains including Movenpick Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia and as Sheraton Bangalore at Brigade Gateway in India.

In his new role, Thodi will be responsible to maximise operations and guest satisfaction as well as work closely with stakeholders as the property continues to undergo an extensive refurbishment as the largest Mercure in the world, a statement said.

Thodi holds a masters degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University.
