The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed an agreement for a fourth Taj hotel in Dubai. IHCL currently operates Taj Dubai in Downtown Dubai's Business Bay and has two new hotels, Taj in Jumeirah Lake Towers and a Taj Hotel on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai slated to open by the end of next year.

The JLT project will likely see its soft opening take place “in anything from 100 to 130 days”, with further details to be revealed soon. So why is the company focusing its expansion plans in Dubai?
