Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront appoints new DoSM

Rabih Elzyr has joined the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront as cluster director of sales and marketing.

Elzyr has been with the Radisson Hotel Group since 2012 when he joined the previous Radisson Blu Downtown Dubai as director of sales and marketing, before moving to the Park Inn by Radisson, Al Rigga as hotel manager in 2015.

In his new role at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront he will be taking the lead in growing the hotel’s presence in the market and developing the sales strategies. Together with his team he will oversee the sales requirements for the newly opened flagship hotel while developing and coaching the members of the sales team.

Commenting on his appointment, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront general manager David Allan said: “We’re fortunate to have Rabih on board with us and look forward to his contribution to being the friendliest five star hotel in Dubai.”  

Originally from Lebanon, Elzyr brings a considerable amount of experience in the sales field. Prior to joining the Radisson Hotel Group he had worked with Rotana and Kempinski Hotels in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.  

Elzyr first moved to the UAE in 2003 where he joined Rotana Hotels as assistant area sales manager. In 2004, he then moved to the Kempinski Julai’a Hotel & Resort, Kuwait where he assumed a new challenge as assistant director of sales & marketing. Elzyr then joined the pre-opening team at the Kempinski Hotel Bahrain City Center where he took the lead as director of sales during the opening phase. 

In 2011 Elzyr’s path led him back to Dubai where joined the Grand Excelsior Hotel as director of sales & marketing before kicking off his career with the Radisson Hotel Group in 2012.
