Marriott Riyadh Hotels appoints Moataz El Tabei as cluster DoSM

Prior to his new appointment, El Tabei has worked with other leading hotels like IHG, Starwood, Hyatt and Kempisnki

Riyadh Marriott Hotels announced the appointment of Moataz El Tabei as the new cluster director of sales and marketing. El Tabei brings over 18 years of sales experience in the Middle East.

He will oversee the commercial activities for Marriott hotels in Riyadh across five properties: Riyadh Marriott, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Courtyard Diplomatic Quarter in the addition to the new opening of Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments at Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter which are due to open in Q2 of 2018.

The Egyptian national first joined Marriott Hotels back in 2003 to open JW Marriott Cairo. In 2015, El Tabei was part of the opening team to debut the Marriot Hotels brand in the holy city of Makkah.
