How has the festival evolved over the years?

As the festival progressed we were able to grow it into a yearly event adding more days and increasing from a few hundred crab to over 1,000 crabs, and now this year aims to be the best year ever.

Who is the festival aimed at?

As the Amphitheatre is a public gathering place this is aimed at the residents of Dubai, crab lovers and people who enjoy eating outdoors with their hands.

How do you ensure the authenticity of the cuisine?

We are very lucky to have with in the resort a multitude of chefs capable of cooking authentic cuisine from around the world. AtMina A'Salam hotel we have our Chinese restaurant Zheng He's where our executive Chinese chef Chern, will be the master behind the crab this year, we also stick to only chilli crab and black pepper crab to ensure we focus on the authentic flavors and cooking techniques. We are keeping ourselves true to the spirit of the chilli crab festival, ensuring we deliver as promised, an authentic dining experience.

The event will feature food stalls, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment and activities for families to enjoy.
