Double B Coffee and Tea, a coffee shop established in Russia has opened its first Middle Eastern store in City Walk Dubai.

Founded in 2012 by Anna Tsfasman, Double B has expanded to more than 75 coffee shops with locations in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Prague and Barcelona.

Double B is the first outlet in Dubai to serve the famous Russian coffee drink - the Raf. The Raf started as an espresso shot, cream and sugar steamed together, and has since been adapted by all speciality Russian coffee shops. Double B’s signature is the Lavender Raf, a light creamy mix of freshly brewed espresso with a hint of lavender creating a velvety mixture that is warmly comforting. Other options include wild rose cappuccino, cherry-chocolate latte and a salted peanut latte. Double B switches its menu every six months. Vegans, or those looking for non-diary options will also be catered to with almond and coconut milk.

Double B supports farms in Columbia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda and El Salvador. Working with the farmers allows Double B to conduct experiments with cultivating and processing coffee to guarantee the quality of each cup.

Each barista at Double B attends the Double B Academy, a fully-fledged educational centre offering vigorous training by authorised SCA (Speciality Coffee Association) trainers, developed for deep practical and theoretical knowledge.

Double B founder Anna Tsfasman, said in statement: “We are proud to announce the opening of our first store in the Middle East at the hugely popular City Walk Dubai. At Double B, we are dedicated to serving the highest quality coffee and we are thrilled to finally share our passion and unique flavours with the gourmands and coffee lovers of Dubai.”
