Tetra Pak welcomed over 1,000 visitors to its stand and connected with 700 customers at Gulfood Manufacturing 2017.

The company was recognised at the Gulfood Manufacturing 2017 Excellence Awards held on October 31, receiving the Best Exhibition Stand Award as well as the Best Food Processing and Packaging Distribution And/ Or Integrator Award for the Tetra Pak PlantMaster.

Tetra Pak President and CEO Dennis Jönsson said: “We are very pleased with the way our largest ever presence at Gulfood Manufacturing proceeded for this year. It was an ideal platform to connect with existing and potential customers from one of our most strategic markets and to highlight our leading value proposition. For us, our customers’ success is truly our passion and we are glad to have had the opportunity to highlight that approach.”

The next generation Tetra Pak Services Holographic Lines and Visually Guided Remote Support technology were strong attractions for potential and existing customers over the three days of the event. The Visually Guided Remote Support technology is used by specialists to provide remote support and identify issues to customers in other locations.

During Gulfood Manufacturing 2017, the company introduced its new Tetra Fino Aseptic 100 Ultra MiM package, as well as recently launched processing equipment, such as the Tetra Pak High Shear Mixer and the Tetra Pak Extrusion Wheel to regional visitors and attendees.

Tetra Pak also hosted its Knowledge Series seminars on Connected Consumers, Digital Transformation, the African Consumer, Decoding the Future of Retailing, and Industry 4.0 by Microsoft. The seminars attracted more than 200 visitors, as experts shared their insights into the changes in the food and beverage industry.
