What makes Riviera Beach Grill special in comparison to its competitors in the market?

Richard John Barrett: We source only the highest quality, and freshest produce and serve it in a simple and uncomplicated way, from our wood fire open chargrill, josper oven and rotisserie spit-roast, offering a typically Mediterranean seafront vibe which perfectly complements our beautiful beachside setting here in JBR Dubai.

Vladimir Bogosavac: Definitely the character of the place and the way our staff help our guests to enjoy not only a unique experience but also the highest quality dishes from our specially curated menu. The venue has a stunning view giving guests the feeling of being sat on a typical Mediterranean seafront; this, combined with the breeze truly opens all of your senses.

How do the front-of-house and back-of-house teams support each other?

Richard John Barrett: Knowledge and understanding of our product and vision are key factors in guest satisfaction and we strive to internally communicate and adapt to our clients’ needs to ensure a memorable experience at Riviera Beach Grill.

Vladimir Bogosavac: Secret ingredients are always kept inside the kitchen doors, but a mutual understanding and consistent support has created a special bond in the entire team, allowing them to deliver the ultimate memorable experience to our guests by anticipating their needs.

How do you ensure the outlet is busy and profitable?

Richard John Barrett: By keeping it simple. From a diverse range of food offerings to value for money, our ethos is to let the ingredients shine and offer an experience whereby customers receive top quality food and service in a relaxed, unpretentious setting.

Vladimir Bogosavac: By keeping it simple and unique, so our guests fall in love with their first bite. Our emphasis is on the quality of the food and service, delivered in simple yet unique ways, encouraging our guests to come back to try something else.

What are the biggest business challenges you face?

Richard John Barrett: JBR is an established location with numerous popular establishments. Our aim is to offer the highest quality and create an experience people will want to repeat on a regular basis. I hope our only challenge in the future is that we need to purchase more tables.

Vladimir Bogosavac: JBR is well known for the many world-renowned brands and dining venues it has in its reach, each with a highly competitive offering. Our aim is to provide a memorable experience to our guests, and to have consistency in our business.

What does the future hold for Riviera Beach Grill?

Richard John Barrett: To become ‘the place to be’ in JBR, and with the beach-side location at Rixos Premium Dubai which offers something for sun-seekers, sundowners and night-time dining, I believe we can achieve our goal and be the place everyone is talking about.
