Dubai's At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa to partner with Sergio Herman
The chef of Michelin-starred restaurant, Oud Sluis, will present an eight-course menu on November 22 and 23
Sergio Herman of Michelin-starred restaurant, Oud Sluis, will present an eight-course menu at At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa on November 22 and 23.
Herman’s dishes will be on offer in an eight-course dinner menu complemented by views of the Dubai skyline. Guests can indulge in seafood including Zeeland oysters, North Sea crab, scallops with yuzu, New Zealand mussels prepared with aged cheese, langoustine caviar and lobster fregola with truffle.
The Dutch chef inherited the love of cooking from his father, also a chef. He is best known for his former World’s 50 Best Fine Dining restaurant regular, Oud Sluis in Netherlands, where he cooked for 25 years.
Herman received his first Michelin star in 1995 and four years later Oud Sluis doubled its star count. He achieved the pinnacle with a third star in 2005. In 2014, he collaborated with celebrated chef Nick Bril to open The Jane in Antwerp, Belgium.
