New bathroom collection by Geberit
Showcasing contemporary designs, the new Geberit bathroom collection creates the ideal ambience for a positive and relaxing refuge while bringing functionality and flexibility to the fore
European sanitary technology provider Geberit has introduced its new bathroom collection in the Gulf region: Geberit Citterio, Geberit Xeno², Geberit iCon, Geberit Smyle and Geberit Abalona.
Reflecting the design hallmarks of renowned Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio, Geberit Citterio combines subtle contours with rounded flowing shapes, resulting in a defined design language for a premium series of bathroom products. Geberit Citterio products have been created with quality, durability and elegance in mind.
With a minimalist design language, the Geberit Xeno² series is characterised by rigid geometric lines outside and soft, natural shapes in the inner basin. This combination of features creates the impression that the inner basin’s shape has been moulded by running water. Geberit iCon features an extensive range of ceramic appliances and bathroom furniture providing the maximum in design flexibility.
Bringing functionality to the fore so it can be incorporated into any bathroom, Geberit Abalona sets itself apart with its outstanding value for money and high quality.
With its contemporary design and ornate lines, the Geberit bathroom series creates a relaxing and positive bathroom ambience.
‘Real Rain’ by Kohler
New multi-sensory showering experience created by American kitchen and baths provider, after much research, promises to transport the bather to ‘the centre of a summer rainstorm’
After studying the elements of a natural rain shower, global provider of kitchen and bath products Kohler has created ‘Real Rain’, a multi-sensory showering experience that “transports the bather to the centre of a summer rainstorm”.
The spray face design has a nozzle geometry that simulates rain by adjusting the size of the water drops. The rates at which the drops fall is varying and random. The shower is designed with a water reservoir that relies on gravity rather than the pressurised spray to shape the water, using 775 nozzles to start the storm off slowly and then build. The on-demand ‘Deluge’ feature releases the 1.9 litres reservoir water in eight seconds, soaking the bather in a flood of water. ‘Real Rain’ also has a six-inch dry area that keeps the rain away from the face. With a minimalist and modern panel, the square silicone spray face is ceiling-mounted. It flows at 7.6 litres per minute, and complies with CALGreen requirements.
Sanit by Aliaxis Building Solutions
German manufacturer of concealed and exposed cisterns and flush plates introduces its new flush plate: Ineo Scop
German manufacturer of concealed and exposed cisterns and flush plates Sanit joined the Aliaxis Group in 1990 and significant expansion followed to regions outside of Europe, including the Middle East.
Sanit has developed a new flush plate, Ineo Scop, with an unconventional glass plate and integrated light. It is part of the Linea design range of flush plates and embodies classic features matching the needs of both private and public areas. The flush plate comes with several technical functions including flush wait time, automatic intermittent flushing, and cleaning mode. The LED background lighting of the black glass plate is individually adjustable incorporating seven different lighting colours. Its touch-free plate operates to high hygienic standards while the infrared sensors detection can be adjusted according to customer preferences, e.g. long or short distance. Ineo Scop combines light and design with the quality and functionality of Sanit’s concealed cistern range, matching design standards and an architect’s technical requirements. The new flush plate also operates to Sanit’s environmental water saving standards with an adjustable small flush down to two litres.
